This hummus is packed with bright ingredients like garlic and lemon juice. Enhance flavors by topping with freshly chopped herbs.
- 1 (15.5 oz) can Nature's Promise Organic garbanzo beans
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 cloves garlic peeled
- ½ tbsp salt
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 slice pita bread
- Drain and rinse the beans and set in a large bowl or jar, setting aside 2 tbsp beans. Drizzle with ¼ cup olive oil, juice from 1 lemon, and tahini. Add garlic and salt and use an immersion blender to blend until smooth. Add more oil if needed. (A regular blender can be used as well.)
- Pour hummus onto a plate and top with remaining ¼ cup olive oil, reserved beans, and paprika. Serve with pita bread.
