This summer sipper gets a double dose of spice from nonalcoholic ginger beer and fresh ginger.
- 8 cups watermelon chunks (about ½ medium watermelon)
- 1 (¾ inch) chunk ginger
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 (12 oz) bottle nonalcoholic ginger beer
- Chop watermelon and add to a blender. Peel and thinly slice the ginger and add to blender, along with the lime juice, lemon juice, honey, and ice cubes.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a fine-mesh strainer and divide among 4 tall glasses. Top off with the ginger beer.
Garnish with a long wedge of watermelon for a fun touch.
