Spice-rubbed chicken is the star of these tacos that are a fast and easy way to feed a crowd. Let guests customize their own with a variety of toppings and salsas.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 ½ tbsp ancho chile powder
- 1 ½ tbsp granulated garlic
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¾ cup olive oil
- 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
For Serving:
- Fajita-size flour tortillas
- Shredded cheese
- Salsa
- Guacamole
Steps
- Set grill to medium. In a medium bowl, stir together the cumin, chile powder, granulated garlic, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and sugar.
- To bowl with seasoning mix, stir in the oil until well combined. Generously rub or brush chicken all over with seasoning oil.
- Cover and grill chicken 8–10 min. per side, until cooked through. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest 5 min. Thinly slice. Serve with tortillas, cheese, salsa, and guacamole for tacos.
